Application software may be package software or tailored software. Packaged software is the collection of software programs that have been developed for all general users, organizations offices to perform specific tasks. The tailored software designed for particular company, office or organization. The tailored software is also known as customized software or a domain-specific tool.

 

Word Processor

A word processor is a software application or device used for creating, editing, formatting, and printing text-based documents. It enables users to manipulate text, such as changing fonts, layout, and adding images, offering features like spell check and, more recently, cloud-based collaboration. Popular examples include Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and LibreOffice Writer.

  • Editing & Formatting: Allows for easy insertion, deletion, and rearrangement of text, as well as changing fonts, paragraph alignment, and margins.
